Founded in 1986, Party Plus became a privately owned company in 1994 under the leadership of President Leroy Dixon, formerly a Regional Manager for The Stanley Works overseeing rental operations across Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Today, our experienced management team brings more than fifty years of combined expertise, offering thoughtful guidance and meticulous attention to detail to bring every event vision to life.

Meet the Team

Leroy Dixon

Company President

Leroy began his career in retail management with Montgomery Ward & Company in 1978, quickly rising to become one of the youngest Store Operations Managers in the company’s history, overseeing a $20 million operation with 450 employees at just 23. In 1987, he transitioned to the rental segment after joining The Stanley Works in New Britain, Connecticut, where he managed the Baltimore operation that would later become part of Leroy Dixon Enterprises, Inc. He advanced to Regional Manager, overseeing Taylor Rental/Party Plus stores across Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Leroy holds an Associate of Arts degree from the Community Colleges of Baltimore County.

Lauri Dixon

Company Vice President & General Manager

Lauri began her career in hospitality at the age of 16 in Houston, Texas, quickly discovering a passion for the industry while mastering both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. She advanced into the hotel sector, holding positions with The Westin Hotels in Houston and later the Sheraton Inner Harbor in Baltimore, gaining extensive experience in food and beverage operations and event coordination. At Harrison’s Pier 5, she played a key role in launching the property, managing interior design, staff training, and multiple outlets. Lauri went on to serve as Director of Catering at Harbor View Marina & Yacht Club, transforming a new venue into one of the most sought-after event spaces in Baltimore. Her work in tent rentals for outdoor events brought her into partnership with Party Plus, where she was recruited 13 years ago to manage the sales department. Today, Lauri oversees both the sales team and day-to-day store operations, supporting our President and ensuring seamless execution of events of all scales.

Standard installation and strike is included in the rental price of the tent.

Sides are optional.  We allow you to wait until the week of to decide if you would like to add them.  We typically will list them as an option on all proposals so you know the cost in the event you need to add due to inclement weather.  We offer  clear, solid and cathedral window sidewall for all our tents.

Yes we do. There is a one time delivery/pickup fee, per truck, that is based on the location of your event.
